By happenstance you've landed on this page and I am doing a little dance of joy because it was starting to let lonely in this corner of the internet!

The Teaching and Learning Corner is about creating a community at the intersection of teaching and learning that can be honest about the struggles of teaching and learning, can be compassionate to the parts of us that show up with shame and guilt, and can be mindful that we are just trying our best. I hope you find comfort, support, and some cool resources while you're here:)

My name is Tamara and I have been an educator in elementary and middle school for over 10 years! I currently work as a teaching and learning coach at an elementary school with a focus on math and science. 

​

I work hand-in-hand with a group of amazing and dedicated educators and I am lucky enough to get to have some dynamic conversations with them. From those discussion, many of the resources I make are born. I figured if they found them useful, you might too.

I currently live in Texas with my cat Wiley. I am on a mental health wellness path and I may from time to time share some gems my therapist shares as they relate to teaching.
